Song Viewer: Control Window: Modes

Song Viewer comes with five different modes to load your files.
For most of them, you need to connect an online account. But you can get all basic functionality without one.

Folder Mode

Clicking Folder button (2) will load all files from your local song folder, which you selected in the settings, to the list view.

This is the initial mode and the only one that works without an online account.

Account Mode

With Account button (3), all files from your online account will be loaded.
The files will be ordered by artist and title.

In settings, you can switch between folder and account mode for startup.

Setlist Mode

If you click Setlist button (4), you can select one of your setlists you created in Song Manager. This will load all files from the setlist.

Shared List Mode

If someone shared a list with you, you can click Shared list button (5) and select from all lists that were shared with you. They will be displayed with list name and username.

This will load all items from the shared list and is the only way to load files from other users.

StSL Mode

The StSL mode button (6) makes life much easier for all the music streamers out there having problems with switching and searching their chord files.

If you have synchronized your files with the StreamerSonglist.com song IDs and there is an active session on StSL in your account, the actual queue will be displayed and the first song in queue will automatically be selected and displayed in the content window.

This way, you will always have the chords or lyrics displayed you need for the actual song. If the song gets marked as played in StSL it will jump to the next one in the list. The program checks every 15 seconds if the queue has changed and will update the list if a change is detected.

If you combine this with a Bluetooth foot switch for the autoscroll start/stop, you don't need to touch your keyboard or mouse anymore for this.
